Shamanic healing

Shamanic Healing is a ceremonial and energetic practice that works with the connection between body, spirit, nature, and the unseen world. Through traditional practices, energy work, sound, herbalism, and ritual, the session creates a sacred space for cleansing, restoration, grounding, and deeper connection with yourself.

Each session is unique and unfolds according to what is present and ready to receive attention in the moment. Practices may include sacred smoke, herbalism, Kultrun (Mapuche healing drum), sound, energetic cleansing, prayer, ritual, connection with the elements, ancestral wisdom, and work with spirit-animal allies.

At the heart of this work is the intention to restore balance, strengthen your connection with your own energy, and reconnect with your Tonalli, understood within Mexica tradition as your vital life force. Rather than following a fixed protocol, each session is guided by what is ready to be seen, supported, cleansed, or restored.

FAQ

frequently
asked questions

Tonalli is a concept within Mexica tradition connected to vital energy or life force. Within my work, reconnecting with your Tonalli speaks to strengthening your vitality, presence, personal power, and connection with your own energy.

My approach has been shaped through study, ceremony, and direct learning with teachers and wisdom keepers from ancestral traditions throughout Latin America.

My studies and experiences include Mexica, Toltec, Mayan, and Mapuche traditions, with teachings received from Abuela Totlalnanzin (Patricia Guerra), Abuela Lolita Vargas of Mexico, Taita Mendoza of Lava Love Cacao in Guatemala, Machi María of Chile, and other elders and teachers who have shared their wisdom along my path.

I hold these teachings with deep respect for the people, cultures, lands, and traditions from which they come. They inform my work while my own practice continues to evolve through lived experience, learning, and relationship with these teachings.

No. You do not need previous experience with shamanic or ceremonial practices. I will guide you through the session and explain anything you need to know along the way.

Depending on the work that needs to be supported, some Shamanic Healing sessions may be offered online. Because certain practices are best experienced in person, we will first evaluate your individual needs and intention to determine whether an online or in-person session is the most appropriate for you.

Every person and process is different. A single session may be meaningful on its own, while others may choose to return as their process unfolds. There is no fixed number of sessions required.
